Holiday apartment in the historical Hammerbrücke train station
The two holiday apartments are in the historical Hammerbrücke train station. During the summer months you can look out at the WEX rail trolley, which occasionally stops right on the doorstep. We can provide a detailed timetable. This is a holiday for slowing down.
The outdoor area is not fenced at all. There is a grill corner next to the house, along with a caravan parking space. For a more relaxing arrival, we offer a shopping service and are happy to assist with any other queries.
The two apartments each occupy a different floor. The fully-equipped and furnished 75m² holiday apartment on the lower floor provides a living room-kitchen, a shower and WC, as well as a bedroom with two beds and a very spacious corridor. The entrance to this apartment is independent of that of the large apartment on the upper floor, but the two apartments can also be used together owing to a connecting door that can be either open or locked. Like in past times, you can step onto the railway and with a bit of luck watch the coming and going of the WEX, feeling like a railway guard.
The Vogtlandschanze/Vogtlandarena is about 8km away. Both adults and children can relax in nature. Children can play undisturbed and the location of the house is also very pleasant for adults. In summer there are natural swimming lakes nearby, easy to get to by bicycle. High-quality bicycles and mountain bikes can be provided by professionals for a small additional fee. You can access the Kammloipe in Hammerbrücke. In Morgenröthe-Rautenkranz there is a space exhibition, as well as a bell foundry. The visitors‘ mine in Tannenbergsthal provides insights into the underground world, or you can visit the Homeland Museum, leisure pool, Schönieck ski world and brewery museum in Schöneck. Owing to the geographical/topographical location, air conditioning is not necessary. Note that all prices exclude 19% VAT and the tourist tax of €0.60 per day per adult.
