Organic farm Balm

Our organic mountain farm is situated in a quiet, sunny location at 1100 metres above sea level in the Entlebuch biosphere reserve. In summer, the Entlebuch is an ideal hiking and biking area with nature-orientated tourism away from the crowds. In winter, the Sörenberg and Marbach ski resorts are within easy reach. Learn about farming and living with nature. We practise dairy farming and pig fattening and have 2 miniature donkeys, Boer goats and various small animals. In the farmhouse we rent out a cosy flat on the 3rd floor with two bedrooms, a large eat-in kitchen and bath/shower/WC. Pets are allowed on request for CHF 5.00/day. On request, you can also rent 2 double rooms with an additional shared bathroom/WC. A warm welcome!

    “Zeer prettig, ruim vakantiehuisje. De keuken en slaapkamers zijn groot, waardoor de afwezigheid van een woonkamer nauwelijks word gemist. Bijzonder aardige hosts die terecht trots zijn op hun kleine biologische boerderij. Verse melk en eieren van de boerderij gratis, zoveel je wil. De boer en boerin zijn allervriendelijkst en behulpzaam, willen graag vertellen over en uitleggen hoe de boerderij werkt maar ook wat er in de buurt te doen en te zien is. Je moet alleen wel tegen de boerenlucht kunnen. Het hoort bij de boerderij maar niet iedereen vindt dat aangenaam.”

    “Positiv: Die Gastgeber sind sehr offen und freundlich.
    Es ist wunderschön, um zu spazieren/laufen.
    Die Wohnung ist grosszügig, super ausgestattet und sauber.
    In der Scheune gibt es einen Töggelikasten und Pingpongtisch für schlechtes Wetter. Ausflüge: Sörenberg - Trottifahrt von der Rossweid mit Halt in einer super Bergkäserei”
