The 147m2 4.5-room apartment on the top floor chalet has three bedrooms with double bed, a bathroom with bath, shower and toilet, a bathroom with bath and toilet and a separate toilet. In the spacious, bright living/dining area with open kitchen and fireplace you can enjoy a relaxing holiday. From the large balcony you can enjoy panoramic views of the mountains.

The house is located 10 minutes’ walk from the village centre. The bus stop is close by.

WiFi and two garage parking spaces are included in the rent.

Pets are welcome.

Smoking is not allowed in the house.

The glacier village of Grindelwald nestles in a diverse, unspoilt Alpine landscape. It is world famous for its backdrop of snow-covered mountains including the Wetterhorn, Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau. In summer, some 500 kilometers of well-marked walking, hiking and mountain trails wait to be explored. En route you will find you’ll find rustic mountain restaurants offering a wide selection of good food, ideal spots to take a relaxing break. The region has many other summer activities to enjoy, such as 120 kilometers of marked mountain-biking routes, paragliding, bungee jumping in the glacier gorge, scooter bike run, summer roller-sledge run, First cliff walk and much more. In winter, 45 mountain railways, aerial cableways and ski lifts offer an invitation to enjoy great fun in the Jungfrau Region. The tree areas of, Grindelwald-First, Kleine Scheidegg-Männlichen and Mürren-Schilthorn offer over 200 kilometers of pistes, with a choice of thrilling or easy downhill runs. Non-skiers are well created for with 100 kilometers of winter-walking trails. The region is also a paradise for sledding fans. The 15-kilometre sledge run from the Faulhorn summit down to Grindelwald is the longest in the Alps. And there’s plenty more snow sport on offer in the Jungfrau Region, including snowshoe tours, cross country skiing and ice sport.

    “Die Wohnungseinrichtung entspricht nicht dem Premium-Standard. Positiv: Raumeinteilung mit dem separaten Elternzimmer mit Nasszelle.
    Direkter Zugang mit dem Lift von der Autoeinstellhalle zur Wohnung. Negativ: Die Wohnung war nur beschränkt sauber bei der Ankunft. In der Abwaschmaschine fehlte Glanzmittel - war leer! Die Betten in den zwei Zimmern (exkl. Elternzimmer) sind aufgrund ihrer Breite (140 cm) nicht für zwei grössere Kinder bzw. erwachsene Personen geeignet. Die Matratzen sind nicht mehr in einem guten Zustand. Restaurant: Hotel Kirchbühl - Essen auf hohem Niveau. Top Qualität. Super Bedienung.”

    “Hinweis: Im linken Schlafzimmer (mit schwarzem Bett) zur Strasse hinten raus funktioniert die Wandlampe nicht. Des Weiteren hängt bei einem grauen Wohnsessel der Stoff unten runter - müsste einfach wieder angeklippst werden. Positiv: Aussicht/Lage. Küche extrem gut ausgerüstet. Negativ: Viel zu wenig bis gar kein Licht im Wohnraum und auch kritisch in der Küche zum Arbeiten. Hier wäre eine Optimierung wünschenswert. Eventuell wäre auch eine Auffrischung der Weingläser möglich, sodass auch tatsächlich sechs der selben Sorte vorhanden sind. Die Betten sind übrigens relativ durchgeschlafen und damit extrem extrem weich - neue Matratzen und/oder Betten würden sicherlich nicht schaden. Restaurant: Barrys Restaurant, Bar & Lounge - Freundliches Personal, extrem leckerer Glühwein, gutes Fondue. Ausflüge: Kleine Scheidegg - Tolle Aussicht!”

    “Modern property with a stunning view of the Alps. Nice balcony, sitting and dining areas. Easy check in with friendly staff and detailed instructions. Positiv: Beautiful view, nice location, clean. Nice amenities like garage parking, laundry and elevator. Negativ: Appliances a little quirky but that could be do to my lack of understanding German instructions.”
