Family-friendly farmhouse with a roofed terrace and a garden by the lake where you can fish
The child-friendly accommodation is on a farm to the south-west of Lidkoping very close to the lake Vänern.
The farmhouse is on two floors and can accommodate ten people. The ground floor has a spacious entrance area and an adjoining rustic kitchen, fully-equipped with a stove, oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee machine and dishwasher, as well as a dining table with chairs. The bedroom on this floor has a sofa bed for two people and a child’s bed. The living room provides a fireplace, a TV and a large sofa. The dining room next to it has a large dining table with eight chairs and two sofas. The bathroom is fitted with a shower, washbasin and toilet. The upper floor has a lounge with a range of seating, as well as two large bedrooms with a double bed and two single beds. There are also three bedrooms each with a single bed and a bathroom with a washing machine, toilet and washbasin. Wireless Internet access is available.
There is a beautiful garden with large lawns for playing and sport, as well as a roofed terrace with a grill and garden furniture. Guests can help themselves to the fruit trees, rhubarb, bushes and shrubs. Parking spaces are available.
It is possible to hire a boat to go on wonderful fishing tours in the skerries, or perhaps to an island and to swim there. There are many wild animals such as elk and deer, which can often be seen on the fields around the farm. The farm has horses and riding possibilities. If you have your own horse, you can bring it with you, subject to prior agreement.
Owing to the proximity to the forest, it is ideal for walks in nature and you can gather berries and mushrooms. You can swim in the lake 1.5km away or at the sandy beach 10km away. There are many lovely hiking paths in the area. It is just a couple of hundred metres from a beautiful archipelago of islands near Vänern. Or you can visit Lacko Castle 40km away, the Spikens fishing camp 40km away, the Svalnäs beach with a kilometre-long sandy beach 10km away, the Rörstrand porcelain museum and the outlet mall 20km and Skara 45km away. There are two golf courses in the area, Lacko golf course 35km away and Lidköping golf course 20km away.
