This lovingly and high-quality renovated farmhouse is located in Ockholm near Dagebüll, only 5 km from the North Sea, surrounded by meadows, fields and dikes in the heart of North Frisia. Here you can really enjoy the country life with children and kids, even with dog and horse.
In the particularly generously laid out rooms over two floors, there is plenty of room for up to 9 people. The old farmhouse parlor is now a cozy living room with a large seating area and modern flat-screen TV. The open-plan room flows into a dining area adjacent to the modern kitchen, as well as a study. Thanks to the large panoramic windows overlooking the garden, the rooms are flooded with light and provide a view of the green surrounding countryside.
The house has a large, private garden with terrace and small garden shed, as well as a meadow with old apple trees. You can also bring your own horse: 3 boxes and a 1000 m² pasture are available. Please ask for details before booking.
The keys are handed over at the service office in Dagebüll.
Directly adjacent to the house is a still managed stable. However, access to the stable is from the other side of the property, so that the privacy of the vacation guests in the house and garden is absolutely undisturbed.
The next bathing possibility is not directly at the dike in Ockholm, but about 10 km away from the house. In the nearby Dagebüll it is possible to stroll wonderfully. There are not only some restaurants and cafes, but also a bike rental and of course the ferry port for crossings to the North Sea islands of Amrum and Föhr from - perfect for a day trip! From the port in Schlüttsiel you can also reach the small Halligen Hooge and Langeneß quickly and relaxed by boat. The house is also ideally located for a day trip to Sylt, because from neighboring Niebüll (about 15 km) you can easily take the train directly to Westerland in just half an hour.
