Welcome to this charming cottage located in the heart of one of the most beautiful villages on the Aude coast, nestled within the Narbonnaise Regional Natural Park.
You will be in close proximity to the pond, perfect for beautiful walks. A boardwalk path will lead you to the ancient salt marshes and the Doul, a lake with high salinity and a small beach. Here, you can observe a variety of wildlife, including flamingos, herons, egrets, and stilts.
This comfortable cottage is a town house with a small outdoor area and a veranda perfect for sunny breakfasts. The entrance leads to a living room, a dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen. Upstairs, you will find three bedrooms: two with double beds (160 cm) and one with two single beds (90 cm) that can be joined together. A bathroom with a toilet completes this floor. Bed linens and towels are provided, pets are welcome, and the cottage is equipped with Wi-Fi.
The village is rich in historical and cultural treasures. Don't miss the 14th-century fortified church and the archaeological museum. Just 10 minutes from Peyriac, the African Reserve offers an immersive experience with wildlife. In 15 minutes, you can reach Narbonne and its majestic Saint-Just Cathedral. Within an hour's drive, discover Carcassonne and its famous medieval city, the castles of the Cathar Country, as well as Perpignan, the vibrant Catalan city.
Please note that the Peyriac town hall imposes parking permits to preserve the area, but a parking permit is provided for the duration of your stay.
For safety reasons related to fire risks and winds, there is no barbecue on site. However, the village has all the essential shops: bakery, grocery store, private wine cellars, restaurants, and even health services (pharmacy, doctors, nurses).
