Did you ever dream of spending your vacation in a beautiful, historic house in the Engadin Valley in Switzerland? Your dream may become reality in the Posta Veglia.
The house is located in the core of the village of Sils-Baselgia. In a few minutes you can walk to the Lake of Sils and admire the magic landscape of the Lakes Region of the Upper Engadin. The seasons of summer and fall will entice you to hike innumerable scenic valley and mountain trails. In winter you’ll experience glorious ski runs in swirling clouds of fluffy powder.  The numerous ski trails are easily accessible with the local bus, the meticulously groomed cross country trails -part of the famous Engadin Ski Marathon Race - pass right in front of your door.
This historic house (built 1792) has been placed under Swiss monument protection. It was modernized respectfully and always with a conscious view to preservation of the old  architectural  features. The cozy stone pine paneled living area is heated from the kitchen with an antique Engadin stove. A small wooden staircase leads from there to an upstairs bedroom.
The original kitchen with a stone floor and a granite sink has been updated with modern appliances without any structural alterations. Modern bathrooms offer desired comfort even with full occupation.
7 to max 9 people will be able to enjoy  comfortable, cozy and relaxing holidays in this historic surrounding.
