Skydeck Penthouse

Cape Town is a city with many faces and a huge mix of areas. However, all Cape Town connoisseurs agree that the best suburbs to live in are along the 'Atlantic Seaboard' – right on the coast. The most exciting of these is Sea Point.

The magazine 'Time Out' named Sea Point the coolest neighbourhood in South Africa and the second coolest neighbourhood in the whole of Africa. It has undergone an incredible metamorphosis in recent years. Numerous hip restaurants and pubs are located along its Main Street. So are some of the city's best supermarkets and shops. The kilometre-long promenade on the seafront is a wonderful place to walk, jog or cycle and watch the sun 'disappear’ into the sea at sunset. European travellers particularly appreciate the fact that they can walk to so many places – shops, restaurants, pubs etc as well as the promenade. Sea Point is considered a safe area by Cape Town standards and has a very urban feel.

The penthouse is centrally located in this trendy suburb and yet are in peaceful locations. Guests are a few steps away from all the hustle and bustle - but are still able to enjoy plenty of peace and quiet. Truly the best of both worlds!

The living room, the large terrace and two of the three bedrooms, have spectacular views of the Atlantic Ocean and Lion's Head, which is Cape Town's most famous mountain after Table Mountain. On its slopes, Fresnaye’s luxury villas sparkle like diamonds in the sun and the large palms give a very Mediterranean feel.


The penthouse extends over three floors, which gives the feeling of being in a house. However, it has the advantage of the safety of an apartment and being up high provides expansive views over the rooftops of the neighbouring houses. The main floor consists of a spacious living/dining area with open-plan kitchen and large terrace. Stairs lead up to one of the three bedrooms with an en-suite bathroom and 270-degree panoramic views. The other two bedrooms and two bathrooms are downstairs.



The living room's large sliding doors give access to the penthouse's expansive terrace. 'Skydeck' is the perfect name for this penthouse as it is reminiscent of the upper deck of a cruise ship. Feel refreshed after a dip in the private plunge pool and then relax on the loungers or enjoy the outdoor sitting/dining areas. There is also a large communal pool with direct access from the penthouse.



The penthouse is equipped with battery storage to be as self-sufficient as possible in the event of load shedding!



As well as being extremely popular, Sea Point is an ideal location from which to explore Cape Town and surrounding areas. Top attractions such as the Victoria & Alfred Waterfront, Table Mountain, Lion's Head and Signal Hill, as well as areas such as De Waterkant, Green Point and the city centre, are all just a few minutes drive away. The magnificent beaches of Clifton and Camps Bay are also within easy reach.

From Sea Point, it’s easy to explore numerous other must-see destinations such as the Cape Peninsula, Simon’s Town with its nearby penguin colony and Cape Point. There are also countless wine estates, unique historic towns like Stellenbosch and Franschhoek and the kilometre-long beach at Bloubergstrand with its famous view of Table Mountain.
