The peak season, from June to September, sees feirce competion for holiday homes in the region. You can book holiday rentals at a much cheaper rate out of season, between January and March. Although this season is marked by longer and chillier nights and short days, the bouchons and marketplaces are at their best. This is the ideal time for gastronomic holidays. Also, expect discounted holiday rentals from October to December and then again, from April to May. While October and November attracts tourists interested in the wine harvest, April and May brings in holidaymakers who care more for a pleasant climate and cheaper prices.
